China’s growing supply has depressed the price of the scrap steel we use by aprox. 15% Fundición Ferrosa usually uses the scraps of low-carbon steel left by the machining industries, among others. Annually, some 600 T of that alloy are used. Only 50% of Ferrosa’s alloys use that type of steel.
