1967
FUNDICIÓN FERROSA was founded on October 30, 1967.
1969
The production of Gray and Nodular Iron begins.
1974
Our main products were brake drums and discs.
1985
Long-term contracts were signed with TOYOTA, VOLKSWAGEN, SCANIA and VOLVO assemblers.
1991
Plant closure due to assembly plants leaving the country.
1996
Reopening of the factory with Induction Furnaces for the manufacture of alloy steels.
2002
The beginning of the commercial relationship with the largest cement company in Peru, Cementos Lima, for the manufacture of refractory steel plates ASTM A297.
2008
We are certified in the ISO 9001 standard with the scope of “Development and Manufacture of parts and cast parts in anti-wear steels”.
2012
This year the manufacture of parts for export began.
2015
The area of Innovation and Development is implemented to study improvements in our alloys.
2018
We implemented modern machinery to expand our production capacity.
2021
Fundicion Ferrosa manages to export 45% of its sales to the foreign market.
